St. Mary's National Alumni Testimonials

Fayia Davis

SENIOR IT ANALYST
4.5/5

"Attending St. Mary Catholic School, Duala Bushrod Island has a huge impact on my success here in the United States at the University of Maryland Global Campus. St. Mary's gave me the tools that were needed to transition into University such as an excellent background in subjects such as English, Math, Reading and Science. In addition to the challenging curriculum, St. Mary's gave me friendships that will last a lifetime. The classroom sizes allow teachers to assist their students in a way that public schools can not. The teachers at St. Mary's care about their student's success. To this day, one of my former teachers from St. Mary's do check up on me and every now and then and continue to encourage me in my my life journey."

I am a proud graduate of St. Mary’s; everything I have learned from Kindergarten to Grade 12 was acquired from St. Mary’s.This knowledge acquired from the Walls of the Legions Kingdom Propelled Me through my Academic Journey from Liberia to the United States.
First, the High school knowledge acquired enables me to pass the National Exam (A Public Test).
Secondly, the knowledge acquired by me from St. Mary’s enables me to pass the Very first University of Liberia Entrance Exams in Post War Liberia with distinctions. I was asked to choose my own college when other students who did not perform well were been restricted from entering directly into the Science and Business Colleges. This was doing the period of Dr. Patrick L. N. Sayon.
All of these were made possible from that High School Education I acquired from St. Mary’s, not any other school but the Legions of St. Mary’s.  Again, I am Proud to be a Legion, K-1 to 12th Grade.
